7GC Partner Jack Leeney Included on Venture Capital Journal's "Rising Stars 2021" List
Jack Leeney, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of 7GC, was included in Venture Capital Journal’s inaugural “Rising Stars 2021” list.
The publication reached out to the venture capital community to find who are the industry’s up and comers. The list includes 40 professionals under 40 who are expected to shape venture capital as the next generation of rising stars.
Nearly 170 people contacted the publication and submitted nominations for 150 candidates – 25% more than the 120 nominations they received the year before. The Rising Stars were often heralded for helping their firms grow. Some prominent firms that had recipients on the list this year included Bain Capital Ventures, 137 Ventures, Greycroft, Mubadala Capital, TCV, and Norwest Venture Partners.
