7GC is growing, and we’re pleased to welcome Chase Seklar to the team!

CHASE SEKLAR JOINS 7GC AS INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE

Chase joins us with a deep passion for frontier technology and AI. His experience in sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio strategy will be a valuable addition as he joins the LA-based investment team ahead of Fund III launch.

Before joining 7GC, Chase was an Associate at Advaita Capital, where he led diligence across portfolio investments, sourced deals, and co-led fundraising efforts exceeding $100M.

An entrepreneur at heart, Chase also co-founded A seed-stage company building AI data infrastructure, which was later acqui-hired by a research lab.

Beyond investing, he’s also deeply engaged in the Los Angeles deep tech ecosystem and the LGBT venture community, mentoring and connecting the next generation of innovators.

Chase holds a B.A. in Economics, Politics, and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude.
