On November 18 2025, Anthropic announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft and Nvidia in which Microsoft and Nvidia will invest a combined $15 billion in Anthropic, while Anthropic commits to purchasing $30 billion of compute services from Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform. The deal also includes a compute capacity target of up to one gigawatt, leveraging Nvidia’s advanced chip architectures.

This deal cements Anthropic as one of the most capitalised and strategically positioned AI companies in the world, with guaranteed long-term access to massive compute, the single scarcest resource in frontier AI.

It deepens Anthropic’s alignment with two industry powerhouses, Microsoft and Nvidia, giving it priority access to next-generation GPU supply and hyperscale cloud capacity. It also signals continued confidence in Anthropic’s commercial trajectory, reinforcing its valuation momentum and strengthening the broader ecosystem around companies building and enabling AI infrastructure — including Fluidstack and other 7GC-backed platforms.
