Anthropic selected New York Headquartered Fluidstack for its ability to move with exceptional agility, enabling rapid delivery of gigawatts of power. “Fluidstack was built for this moment,” said Gary Wu, Co-Founder and CEO of Fluidstack. "We're proud to partner with frontier AI leaders like Anthropic to accelerate and deploy the infrastructure necessary to realize their vision."
The program will deliver large-scale, custom-built facilities designed to support Anthropic’s rapidly growing model workloads, with the first sites expected to come online in 2026.
The initiative is set to create roughly 800 permanent jobs and more than 2,000 construction roles, underscoring Anthropic’s push to secure long-term compute capacity and strengthen domestic AI capabilities.
It marks a strategic push to compete with OpenAI’s $1.4 trillion build-out and positions Anthropic as a major U.S. infrastructure player amid policy focus on domestic AI capacity.
We’re getting closer to AI that can accelerate scientific discovery and help solve complex problems in ways that weren’t possible before. Realizing that potential requires infrastructure that can support continued development at the frontier,” said Dario Amodei, CEO and Co-Founder of Anthropic.
