Anthropic has closed its Series H, raising $65 billion at a post-money valuation of $965 billion, making it the most valuable AI company in the world and the largest private technology fundraise in history. The round was co-led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital, with significant participation from Capital Group, Coatue, D1 Capital Partners, GIC, Blackstone, Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, Temasek, and others, alongside $15 billion in previously committed capital from hyperscalers including Amazon. Strategic chip partners Micron, Samsung, and SK Hynix also joined, reflecting the depth of infrastructure commitment required to sustain Anthropic's growth trajectory.
The company's run-rate revenue crossed $47 billion at the time of the announcement, up from $14 billion at the Series G close in February 2026, representing more than a threefold increase in approximately three months. Claude is now deployed by global enterprises across industries as a core operational tool, and is the first frontier AI model available across all three major cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Anthropic has also signed agreements for up to five gigawatts of new compute capacity with Amazon, five gigawatts of next-generation TPU capacity with Google and Broadcom, and GPU access through SpaceX's Colossus infrastructure.
The Series H is widely regarded as Anthropic's final private fundraising round ahead of a public listing. The company confidentially filed draft IPO paperwork with the SEC on 1 June 2026, with an autumn 2026 Nasdaq debut as the reported target.
