Fluidstack, The Airbnb for GPUs, Became A $18B Giant

FLUIDSTACK RAISES SERIES B At $18B LED BY JANE STREET CAPITAL

Fluidstack has closed a $1.5 billion round led by Jane Street Capital at a valuation of over $18 billion, according to reporting by Forbes.

The fundraise follows a $750 million round completed in July 2026 at a $7.5 billion valuation, itself a significant step up from the $200 million Series A in February 2025. The valuation surge reflects the transformative impact of the company's $50 billion data center construction agreement with Anthropic, signed in November 2025, which commits Fluidstack to building custom-designed facilities in Texas and New York optimised for training and running Anthropic's Claude models. The deal is one of the largest infrastructure contracts in technology history and has fundamentally repositioned Fluidstack from a GPU marketplace into a premier AI infrastructure provider. Its client base now includes Meta, Mistral AI, Poolside, and Black Forest Labs.

Alongside this milestone, 7GC has completed a secondary sale of its position IN THE COMPANY, marking a major liquidity event and crystallising a 15x return for its Fund II investors. 7GC has been a shareholder in Fluidstack since October 2024, one of the earliest institutional backers of the business.
